About

The Challenge

Whether you run, walk, paddle, swim, or climb, we want to see you move it for wildlife! The Taronga Rubbish Run is a week long challenge which requires you you to pick up rubbish whilst exercising. Picking up litter whilst exercising is a new fitness craze called plogging!

We’re asking you to get out there, get active, and get plogging for one week in MAY. It’s super easy, and that’s why we want you to ask your friends and family to support your plogging efforts with a donation.

Whether you pick up 3 bits of litter or a bag, the challenge is to PLOG DAILY for 7 days to clean up our environment and fundraise to protect our Aussie wildlife. Every Litter- bit helps.

The funds you raise will enable Taronga to continue to protect endangered native animals from extinction.

Humans are uniting more than ever to make a difference on our shared planet. Picking up litter is small every day act with a big impact. So make a commitment to protecting our planet and wildlife. Take on the challenge and "pick it up" to protect native animals and support the critical work of our wildlife hospital.
